Ultraviolette Automotive has marked a major step in its global expansion by officially starting retail operations in the United Kingdom. The Bengaluru-based electric performance brand made its UK debut at the Motorcycle Live Show in London, where it showcased the complete F77 lineup and three new next-generation platforms.
This move comes through a partnership with MotoMondo BV, helping Ultraviolette grow across Northern Europe.

F77 Series: Now Ready for Roads in the UK
Ultraviolette has introduced two versions of its popular F77 in the UK. Both follow the brand’s aviation-inspired design theme but offer different riding styles.
F77 Mach 2 Recon
Built for riders who prefer a sharper and more aggressive posture.
F77 SuperStreet Recon
Made for daily commuting with a more relaxed, upright riding stance.
Both models share the same electric performance setup:
- Peak Power: 30 kW
- Torque: 100 Nm
- Top Speed: 155 km/h
- Battery Capacity: 10.3 kWh
- IDC Range: Up to 323 km
The F77 also comes with advanced safety and control systems such as Violette A.I., 10-level regen braking, 4-level traction control, dual-channel Bosch ABS, and Dynamic Stability Control. Together, they offer one of the most intelligent riding experiences in the EV motorcycle segment.

X-47 Crossover: World’s First Radar-Integrated Motorcycle
The biggest highlight of the London showcase was the X-47 Crossover. It is the first motorcycle in the world to come with radar technology as a standard feature.
The radar system is powered by UV HyperSense, Ultraviolette’s new Advanced Rider Assistance System (ARAS). It helps riders stay aware of their surroundings and improves safety.
Key Radar Features
- Blind Spot Detection
- Lane Change Assist
- Overtake Alert
- Rear Collision Warning through mirror-mounted “Omnisense” alerts
- Automatic hazard light activation when danger is detected
The radar works even when the bike leans up to 20 degrees, giving accurate readings during turns.
The X-47 also features a powerful air-cooled onboard charger that maintains full charging output even in very hot conditions like 45–50°C, making it ideal for countries with warm climates.

Future EV Platforms: Tesseract and Shockwave
Ultraviolette also displayed two upcoming platforms, showing its long-term global EV vision.
| Platform | Category | Key Innovation | Performance Highlight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tesseract | Advanced Scooter | First scooter with radar + dashcam | 34 litres storage, 7-inch TFT, Traction Control |
| Shockwave | Lightweight Motorcycle | Designed to feel like a quick 2-stroke | 505 Nm at rear wheel, 0–60 km/h in 2.9 sec |
These concepts show that Ultraviolette is working far beyond regular electric motorcycles and is building a complete performance EV ecosystem.

A Big Step for Indian EV Innovation
Ultraviolette CEO Narayan Subramaniam shared that the UK is an important market because of its strong motorcycling culture. With support from major investors such as Lingotto (Exor N.V.), Qualcomm Ventures, and TVS Motors, the company aims to set new global standards in intelligent and high-performance electric mobility.
With radar-based safety systems, aviation-style design, and a growing international presence, Ultraviolette is becoming one of India’s most innovative EV brands on the global stage.

Conclusion
Ultraviolette’s UK entry and the launch of the world’s first radar-equipped motorcycle mark a major moment for India’s EV industry. With the F77 lineup, the X-47 Crossover, and future platforms like Tesseract and Shockwave, the brand is pushing the boundaries of what electric motorcycles can do.
