The legendary Tata Sierra is finally coming back, and people across India are already excited. Even though Tata Motors has not officially opened bookings, many dealerships have started taking unofficial pre-bookings for the brand-new Sierra.
According to dealer sources, the booking amount is between ₹11,000 and ₹51,000, depending on the city and showroom. Tata Motors will reveal full details — including features and prices — on November 25th. Deliveries are expected to start in January 2026.

Three Powertrain Options Confirmed
Tata will offer the new Sierra with three types of engines, so every buyer can choose what suits them best.

The Sierra EV will be the top-end model. It is expected to come with a bigger battery, longer driving range, and Tata’s latest EV technology.
2. 1.5L Turbo Petrol
A new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine will offer strong performance:
- Around 168 BHP
- 280 Nm torque
Both manual and automatic gearboxes are likely.
3. 1.5L Diesel
A trusted 1.5-litre diesel engine (similar to the Curvv and Nexon) will be available for buyers who prefer better mileage and long-distance comfort.
