Mercedes-Benz has officially introduced the 2026 GLB, and this new generation brings its most significant upgrade since the model’s debut. 4. India Launch: What to Expect
Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that the new GLB will come to India, but with the following notes:
- It will arrive as a CBU import.
- India will not receive EV variants initially.
- Only petrol and diesel engines are expected at launch.
- The GLB will continue as a compact luxury 7-seater, a rare configuration in its segment.

Due to the new platform and added features, expect the India price to be higher than the outgoing version.
